Privacy Policy

This policy covers this website only — sunshinegolfholdings.com, the public pages operated by Sunshine Golf Holdings, LLC ("we", "us"). It is a brochure site with no accounts behind it. A small number of pages carry a form for clubs who want us to contact them; any page that collects information says so on the page itself, and what those forms collect is described below.
The Fairways product is a separate thing with a separate policy. If you log in to the web app at app.sunshinegolfholdings.com, or use the Fairways or Fairways Operator mobile apps, what happens to your information there is governed by the Fairways Privacy Policy, not by this page. Nothing described below applies to that service, and nothing in that policy describes this website.
What we collect here
Unless a page has a form on it, a visit produces only the following on its own. There are no accounts on this site and no page asks you to create one.
- Server logs — our web server records the standard details of each request: IP address, browser user agent, the page requested, referring page, and the date and time. We use these to keep the site up, and to investigate errors and abuse.
- Usage analytics — every page of this site loads Microsoft Clarity, which records how the page is used (clicks, scrolling, and general session behavior) so we can tell whether these pages read clearly. Where a page has a form, its fields are masked so what you type into it is not recorded.
- Anything you choose to email us — if you write to one of the addresses on this site, we have whatever you put in that email. We use it to answer you.
Forms
Some pages on this site carry a form for clubs who want us to get in touch. Filling one in is entirely voluntary, and the page it sits on explains what it is for. If you submit one we receive:
- Your contact details — name, club name, email address, and phone number, so we can reach you.
- What you tell us about your club — your role, location, club type, the events you run and when, what software you use today, when it suits you to talk, who else is involved in the decision, and anything you add in your own words.
- How you arrived — the campaign tags in the link you followed and the page that referred you, so we can tell which outreach is worth repeating.
We use this to contact you, to set your club up if you decide to go ahead, and for nothing else. It is stored in the Fairways system and reaches our team by email. We do not sell it, we do not add you to a marketing list from it, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the providers named below. Ask us to delete it at any time and we will.
Third parties your browser contacts
Two things on these pages are loaded from other companies' servers. That request alone tells them your IP address and browser, the same as visiting any page that uses them:
- Google Fonts — the typefaces on every page of this site are served by Google.
- Microsoft Clarity — the analytics described above, on every page.
Links on this site to app.sunshinegolfholdings.com leave this website. Once you follow one, the Fairways Privacy Policy governs instead.
Cookies
We set no cookies of our own, and this site stores nothing in your browser. Microsoft Clarity sets its own cookies to recognize a returning session. Blocking cookies or scripts in your browser, or using an extension that blocks analytics, prevents that and does not otherwise affect this site.
What we do not do here
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not run advertising, and we do not track you across other companies' sites.
- We do not run a mailing list here. Submitting a form gets you a confirmation email and a call, nothing else, and it does not subscribe you to anything.
- We collect no payment information, and this site takes no payments.
Sharing
Beyond the two providers named above and our hosting provider, Hetzner, which runs the servers this site is served from, we share nothing from this website. The one addition applies to forms: what you submit is stored in our own systems, and Resend, our email provider, delivers your confirmation email and the internal notification to our team. We do not sell any of it. We may disclose information if required by law.
Retention
Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting and then rotated out. Analytics data is retained by Microsoft under Clarity's own retention schedule. Email you send us is kept as long as needed to handle your question. Form submissions are kept while we are in contact with you and afterward as a record of the enquiry, until you ask us to delete them.
Your choices
We hold no account for you here, so unless you have submitted a form or emailed us there is nothing of yours for us to look up. If you have done either and want that record corrected or deleted, or you have a question about this policy, write to privacy@sunshinegolfholdings.com. For anything concerning a Fairways account, use the contact details in the Fairways Privacy Policy.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
